Who is Omar?
May I please introduce myself. I am a Gambian who lives at Faji Kunda village
a part of Serekunda the most populated town in The Gambia. I joined the a company
called "African Adventure tours" on 16 december 2003 as a professional guide after
attaining a wide experience in the Gambia hospitality industry. Currently I am an
expert in ground tour operations especially with excursions.
My Great Grandparents originated from Mali Timbuktu, my father was born in Guinea
Conakary better known as French Guinea. This is a wonderful tropical land
where the great West African River Gambia takes its source at about 700 sea miles.
My mother is a Senegalise born in The Gambia from a renown local sailor and a medicine
man called Ousman Jegan Sarr. I am simply a Senegambian,
Starting my own business
Since I thought I could give tourist better service and more personal attention,
I started to work for myself early 2008. Also this would help to have a chance for
a better and more stable future. With the help of some former clients, I created
this website, since internet is the the main contact source for most of the tourists.
